The European Investors Council in Kosovo (EIC) - an association of the leading foreign investors in the country, was established on 3rd of July 2014. To maximize results, EIC developed various forms of dialogue with the Government and other relevant institutions present in Kosovo - on the highest level to promote views at the official meetings, but also on the expert-level through roundtables and special meetings with the state administration to clarify and resolve concrete issues.
On 20 October the EIC has organized the 9th General Assembly, where it has gathered all of its members.
The EIC members have chosen the New Board through the voting process by secret ballot.
The new Board, composed of five members, will be chaired by Eriola Bibolli the Executive Director of ProCredit Bank kosova.
The Deputy Chairperson will be Shpend Balija; director of Treasury - Afrora Rudi; EU relation Valentina Gara and Secretary Thomas Glavas.
The Council’s key document is the White Book, an annual publication informing the general public and all stakeholders about the business environment and the obstacles to doing business experienced by foreign investors in Kosovo and more importantly, providing recommendations for removing the identified barriers, aimed at increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the Kosovo’s economy. White Book project was launched in 2018 and represents EIC flagship project with significant impact on the legislative changes.
